A Spectrum of Toxic or Challenging Traits
There is a whole spectrum of toxic parenting…some parents may be 100% toxic while others have a few toxic traits amongst good ones. Some parents tried their best with what they knew and fell short, some parents did the bare minimum, some parents actively tried to hurt their children. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, you may be carrying wounds from your parents.
- No Praise or Recognition: Fail to acknowledge or celebrate your achievements
- Excessive Responsibilities: Requires unreasonable household responsibilities, chores, taking care of siblings
- Inconsistent Discipline: Applies rules and consequences arbitrarily or unfairly
- Overly Critical: Constantly criticizes or finds fault in your behavior or decisions
- Unreasonable Expectations: Sets unrealistically high standards for your performance, such as grades, sports, or career choices, often prioritizing achievement over well-being
- Eggshells: You had to tiptoe around a parent’s feelings, unable to have emotions of your own, suppressing emotions until you became numb
- Controlling: Wouldn’t allow you to make decisions and controlled every aspect of your life, leaving you to be wishy-washy, unable to be decisive or make good choices, or unable to choose for yourself
- Belittling/Verbally Abusive: Uses words or actions to make you feel small, insignificant, and worthless
- Emotionally Neglectful or Dismissive: Fails to provide emotional support, validation, or empathy, and may dismiss or minimize your feelings
- You Became The Parent: In many cases, the child became the parent, taking care of their parent’s (usually the mother’s) emotional needs. You learned to people-please to keep your mother happy
- Oblivious: Paying no attention to what problems or challenges you may have, leaving you as a child to sort out your own problems
- Narcissistic: Prioritizes own needs and desires over your well-being
- Gaslighting: Distorts or denies reality to manipulate your perception
- Physically or Sexually Abusive: Uses physical force or sexual acts to harm, exploit, or manipulate you
- Physically Neglectful: Failure to provide basic physical needs of safe housing, adequate food, clothing, or access to education
- Abandonment: Leaves you feeling rejected, forgotten, or unimportant. (Emotional neglect can happen even when your parents are physically present)
The Words They Speak Leave Imprints
Parents are humans. Even the best-meaning and loving parents say things that hurt us, let alone the intentionally hurtful words from toxic parents. You may be able to repeat the exact words your mother or father used.
These words can leave a lasting imprint program within us that causes us issues with weight and body acceptance, low self-esteem, relationships, and even success.
It’s as if someone waved a magic wand over you and cast a spell. It has been said that words do cast spells. Which is why Jennifer clears spells and curses for her clients even if they are unaware of them.
For example: Jennifer wanted to go to university to be a veterinarian, because she loves animals. Her father’s exact words were, “If you think I will spend my hard-earned money on a college education for YOU, when all you will do is get married and have babies, you’ve got another thing coming!”
Her mother was incredibly critical. She didn’t want her to get fat and called her a “potential fat person.” If she asked for seconds on cookies or dessert, her mother would say “Do you want to be just like your Aunt Connie and Aunt Ruth?” (both were obese)
If your parents felt you needed to be married to be happy or successful, you may have spent a lifetime getting married and divorced or staying in an unhappy marriage, because your parents programmed you to. In Jennifer’s case, her father told her countless times that she needed a man to be financially stable.
You may have been told that you “would never amount to anything,” which led you to believe you couldn’t be successful and have a subconscious program of not being good enough.
- The body bears the burden – The weight of emotional pain often turns into serious health issues — autoimmune conditions, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, hormonal imbalance, or heart disease. (Khiron Clinics)

If you only listen to what you believe are your issues, you will miss shifting your perspective on what happened and who you really are. Even if you do not have body dysmorphia, there is a gentleness that will permeate your being that allows you to shift into a higher level of evolution and complete understanding of yourself that your ego thinks is already present. I remember thinking that I loved myself thirty years before I actually did. I was bs-ing myself. We don’t realize the lies we tell ourselves in order to make sense of our past experiences.
After listening to the full rotation of audios, wait for two days to assimilate what you have heard. If you cried during an audio, you likely missed a great deal. Go back and listen to the ones that you feel pulled to.
It is important to note that we need to come to these audios with an open mind. Our ego will tell us we already know something. When we go in with an attitude of “I know this already,” we are in denial of truth and are blocking new information from reaching our subconscious mind.
I lied to myself about a lot on my journey back to myself. I thought I knew. I thought I had all the information when I really didn’t. I blocked information and made life more challenging than it needed to be.
Ask for your highest and best to come from each audio.
Be as compassionate toward yourself as you can be.
Judgment is one of the things we use to “keep ourselves safe.” When in actual fact judgment keeps us stuck in fear and self-righteous indignation, a place where no healing occurs.
Think of this as a three month journey. Every three months there is a season change, a weather change and even the length of the days changes.
Every three months come back and revisit the audios that you had the hardest time with. Listen to the ones that made you angry or made you cry first. The audios that gave you a reaction are the ones that need to be listened to first. These will give you greater insight into why you feel a certain way, or become reactive.
Listening on low volume or while you are sleeping will allow these concepts to slide easily into your subconscious mind to shift you further.
I recommend listening at least once without multi-tasking. My guides have been telling me for years that people believe they can multi-task efficiently when that isn’t actually true. That used to be me. When I multi-task, I miss things.
I love the live calls, as they are absolutely magical. Listening to them a second time can help you tremendously. Energy shifts every time we listen. Remember we are like onions, layer upon layer on top of one another. Energy moves in this way. Another layer gone! Another layer gone as we get lighter and lighter removing the toxic emotions, beliefs and perceptions.

Hi Jennifer, My name is Luke and I am a college student and wrestler who was injured a few months ago during a match. After minor surgery, recovery went well and I was cleared to return to light training and practice about 7 weeks post op. It was around that time I noticed another issue that has caused me a lot of anxiety and insecurity.
After speaking with my doctor, she recommended I meet with a specialist to see if that would help things along. After working with a few, I still didn’t get back to where I wanted to be. Recently, a friend of the family (she’s a retired psychologist) suggested I try working with a life coach to try to address some of the anxiety that I have been experiencing.

Son’s OCD, Bedtime Crying Gone - back to making music and art
I first reached out to Jennifer at the end of my rope trying to ease my son’s anxiety. We had been working with psychologists, naturopaths, books, and more. You Cleared Out SO MUCH crap - Now Feeling So Good!

Nothing I tried work - until I met Jennifer

2 yr follow up: Severe Depression, Sleeping 18-20 hrs/day, Suicidal Thoughts Lifted!
