About Misa Hopkins
Misa Hopkins has healed her own incurable condition and chronic illness. In her process of healing, and as an astute observer of others’ healing journeys, she discovered that the process itself is a path to spiritual awakening. This is the message she shares today.
Her life took a dramatic turn when her mother left her death bed after Misa sang an unknown Native chant to her that seemed to speak to her mother’s own little-understood Native heritage. Though Misa loved her thriving consulting practice, when her mother finally did cross to the other side, Misa packed up all her belongings and went on a quest in order to devote her life to understanding her sound healing gift and her Native blood.
Ten years later, after living a quiet meditative life, studying with Native elders, learning from enlightened masters of various backgrounds, offering classes and healings, and attending and learning ceremonies, she met and married her husband. With his love and support, she created the New Dream Foundation, dedicated to healing and awakening through the Sacred Feminine. She also wrote her best-selling book, “The Root of All Healing: 7 Steps to Healing Anything.” The book is based upon her own experiences and the observations of people she met throughout her life that were actually healing from life-threatening and “incurable” conditions.
With the help of a skilled doctor, a therapist and numerous alternative healers, Misa healed from a condition in which she was producing as much testosterone as a male in puberty. On her own, and under the observation of a doctor, she healed a collapsed fallopian tube with energy alone, and most recently she use sound medicine to heal from the onset of MS. With each condition, Misa had to bring loving compassion to the root emotional causes in order for true and lasting healing to occur.
Now, using her background as an educator and healer, along with her intuitive abilities, she provides practical insights to help people unlock the spiritual mystery of self-healing. Through her loving support, people around the world are discovering the root causes of their illnesses, owning their natural abilities to heal, and creating their own miracles, as they embrace the Divinity within themselves.

Misa says, “It began with a vision from a past life in which I remembered what it was like to be wanted and received at the time of my birth. I had no idea I needed to remember this, or that it could fill me with so much joy.

10 Emotional Needs of the Soul — The Formative Years
(Pre-birth to age 7)
Experience greater joy and ease as you reclaim the innocence and trust you had in the Divine before you came to earth.
As you are forming, and bonding with your parents, your soul receives the imprints of their beliefs and unmet emotional needs, until eventually it becomes difficult to separate yourself from them. However, in those formative years you still have a pure connection to the Divine and your spiritual gifts, as they were before you came to earth—though this starts to fade at about age 6.
When you meet the first 4 Emotional Needs of the Soul with Misa, you unwind from your parents’ legacies, reclaiming your spiritual gifts and trust in the Divine so you can create with ease and joy.

Feeling Wanted: Pre-Womb and in the Womb
Before you entered your mother’s womb and during your mother’s pregnancy with you, your soul longed to feel wanted. If you didn’t experience this, you end up feeling unwanted, as though you don’t belong. In this session we enter the primordial womb of life so you can feel the Divine anticipating you when your soul was first conceived.

Being Received - Birth
When you were born, your soul longed to feel both your parents welcoming you into their family and your journey together. If this didn’t happen, you can feel rejected and alone, and have difficulty receiving life’s gifts. In this session we energetically recreate your birth so you feel truly welcomed and able to receive blessings, prosperity, and love from others.

Held in Wonder - Ages 0–3
Your soul longs for others to be delighted with you and your discoveries. If you didn’t experience this sense of wonder, you find it difficult to be excited about the experiences of others. You feel disconnected and lost. In this session we Hold you in feeling the delight you had as a child, discovering what intrigued you when you arrived. You rekindle your excitement for being alive.

You are discovering what you love to do. Being appreciated for both your attempts and successes gives you courage and a sense of value. Without it, you can be overly cautious, or feel taken for granted or used. You easily release to the Divine when over the years you have forgiven yourself and others for regrets or resentments, and you are ready for complete and loving Divine grace. Without grace, death can be a struggle. Misa’s Own Experience with Healing the First Emotional Need of the Soul
I could see and hear my ancestor walking in the snow, hurrying to the Guardian’s lodge because her baby was about to be born. The baby was me. My mother knew my oldest sacred name and called me by that name. She already knew me and was excited that soon she would be meeting me in person. I felt profoundly wanted as her desire for me filled my entire being. I belonged.
Over the years, I’ve done a lot of work fulfilling unmet emotional needs. I could not have told you that I had an unfulfilled need to feel wanted. But there must have been some part of me yearning for that depth of experience.
When the emotional need to feel wanted was fulfilled, my life changed, instantly.
Feeling wanted is fundamentally about knowing how precious you are and that you truly belong.
When I came out of the visioning ceremony and was engaging in my daily routines, I noticed that I wasn’t as bothered by the little things that used to irritate me, like when my husband cleans up after dinner and forgets to put food back in the refrigerator.
As I reflected on what had changed in me, I realized I felt wanted and longed for him to feel wanted too. Instead of being irritated, I found new ways to communicate with humour and grace.
When you know that another human being has anticipated your arrival and knows your sacred name, it comes with a profound sense of belonging in the world. Your soul has been called in, out of desire to be with you.

For what reason do I not hear of the Divine Female? Feminine and Masculine are but the polar extremes of every personality regardless of gender. God as I know God is Male, Female, Child and Spirit. The six relationships possible for us inter personally are father, mother, son, daughter, brother and sister. Is the “Divine Feminine” an old way of describing as Divine a quality assigned by primitives to the female of the species? I have not lost my heritage like the savages of Europe and the British Isles. It is my heritage that was fulfilled five hundred years ago by God as Mother, giving us the Child sacrificed by God to reconcile the Universe to God that no more need die and the Spirit.
