What is the Shero's Journey
An extraordinary set of tools
The Hero Myth is an extraordinary set of tools that allow us to uncover our current life story, discover the parts that are keepers, discard the toxic parts that no longer serve us, and then design and author a new more empowering story.
Joseph Campbell discovered that all storytelling, conscious or not, follows the ancient pattern of myth. That all stories, from a ‘tragedy of wasted potential’ to a ‘triumph of the human spirit’, can be understood through the lens of the Hero Myth, whose principles we will use to guide us on our journey of self-discovery.
Campbell was a student of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung. The ideas in the Hero Myth are often referred to as ‘Jungian’. Our Quest is based on Jung’s idea of the archetypes, consistently repeating characters who occur in the dreams of all people and the myths of all cultures.
What are Archetypes
Reflections of the human mind
Jung believed that these archetypes are reflections of the human mind. Our mind divides into characters to play out the drama of our lives. The repeating characters of the Hero Myth such as the Young Maiden, The Wild Woman, The Wise Old Crone, The Shapeshifting Nemesis and The Shadow Nemesis are identical with the archetypes of the human mind.
These stories are a true model of the workings of the human mind, a true map of our psyche. They are psychologically valid and realistic, even when they portray impossible or unrealistic events.
This is why universally they hold so much power. Stories built on the model of the Hero Myth have an energy that can be felt by everyone, as they emerge from a universal source, reflecting universal concerns and questions like, Why was I born? What is my purpose in life? and How can I be the best version of myself?

We deep dive into all three levels of consciousness in the language that it speaks, unifying our individual mind. Our conscious mind, a writing prompt (journeying and journalling), our subconscious mind an art prompt and our unconscious mind through an energy prompt. The archetypal steps in the
Shero’s Journey are great keys to life, becoming a tool, allowing us to deepen our connection with who we are, so that we can actively participate, and author who we are becoming reverse engineering our ‘happy ending’.
Step 1
ORDINARY WORLD
This is where the Shero exists before her present story begins, Oblivious of the adventures to come. It’s her safe place, her everyday life where we learn crucial details about our Shero, her true nature and her capabilities.
Step 2
CALL TO ADVENTURE
This is where the Shero’s adventure begins when she receives a call to action, a direct threat to her safety, her family, her way of life or to the peace of her community. It ultimately disrupts the comfort of the Shero’s Ordinary World and presents a quest that must be undertaken.
Step 3
RELUCTANT AT FIRST
Often at this point, the Shero pauses at the threshold of adventure. After all, she is facing the greatest of all fears, the fear of the unknown.
Step 4
MEETING HER MENTOR
At this crucial turning point the Shero desperately needs guidance, she meets a mentor. She could accept an object of great importance or insight into the dilemma she faces.
Step 5
PASSING THE FIRST THRESHOLD
Your Shero fully enters the special world of her story for the first time. This is the moment where the story takes off and the adventure begins. The Shero is now committed to the journey … there is no turning back.
Step 6
ENCOUNTERING TEST & TRIALS
The Shero is tested by a difficult series of challenges. Obstacles are thrown across her path. Each test or trial helps her prepare. Every obstacle overcome moves her forward in her journey.
Step 7
INNER MOST CAVE
At last the Shero comes to a dangerous place, often deep underground, where the object of her quest is hidden, ready to challenge the hostile forces guarding her treasure.
Step 8
ENDURING THE SUPREME ORDEAL
This is the moment where the Shero hits rock bottom. Faces the possibility of death, brought to the brink in a fight with a mystical beast.
Step 9
THE ROAD BACK
The Shero’s not out of the woods yet. Some of the best chase scenes come at this point. As the Shero is pursued by the vengeful forces from whom she has stolen the elixir or treasure.
Step 10
SEIZING THE SWORD
Having survived death, having beaten the dragon, the Shero now takes possession of the treasure she’s seeking. Sometimes it’s a special weapon like a magic ‘sword’, or it may be an elixir which can heal the wounded land.
Step 11
RESURRECTION
The Shero emerges from the special world, transformed by her experience. There is often a replay here, of the mock death and rebirth, as the Shero once again faces death and survives. Each ordeal wins her new command over the force.
Step 12
RETURN WITH HER ELIXER
The Shero comes back to her ordinary world, but her adventure would be meaningless unless she brought back the elixir, from the special world. Unless she comes back with the elixir, she’s doomed to repeat the adventure until she does.

Our shared stories create signposts along a dark and weathered path. I invite you to choose growth versus fitting in, feeling versus insensitivity, a life fully expressed versus holding our wild, writhing stores captive within. When we share we create a ripple that extends from the center or our collective heart beat. I invite you to connect beyond the narrative of your mind and send radiant nourishment to a shadow, hungry world. No writing or art experience required.
Day 1-2
Getting started
We work inside of a sacred Flower of Life Medicine Wheel with one layer of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in each petal deep diving into the story of YOU to uncover your current narrative, seeing perhaps for the first time how much of your life you can expand into.
Day 3-6
BASIC NEEDS
Our basic needs are obvious, they include things vital to our survival food, water, shelter, rest & sex. Life can become stressful without a solid foundation around our basic needs, we have no strength or sustainability making it challenging to move up the pyramid to self actualisation.
Day 7-10
SAFETY NEEDS
No matter what our risk tolerance, we crave protection & the feeling of safety in our lives. Although it differs from person to person, we all look to escape fear & work towards control & order in our lives, our need for safety & security contributes to how we move through life.
Day 11-14
Love & Belonging
Following safety & security, the feelings of love & belonging create a strong middle layer of the pyramid. Even independent people crave the feeling of love & a sense that they belong. Our relationships create a sense of larger meaning within us & help us avoid challenges with loneliness, depression, & anxiety.
Day 15-18
Estreem Needs
As humans we chase goals, the need for fulfilment is deeply rooted in us all. When our needs at the lower levels have been met our esteem needs begin to play a more prominent role in motivating our way of being in the world.
Day 19-22
Beauty NEEDS
We crave beautiful imagery as we move towards self-actualization. To spend time in the beauty of nature, extracting the beauty that the world has to offer leads to joy & bliss that we see in ourselves & others. We feel connected.
Day 23-26
SELF ACTUALIZATION NEEDS
Each level of Maslow’s pyramid relies on the one below they are all closely connected. People journey through these levels in life working to achieve their full potential as human beings. Self-actualisation is the full use & expression of our pure potential.

Can this really work?
Yes, it can! We hear from people all the time who have all kinds of improvements in their lives through energy healing. Better Health, Abundance, Relationships, Career, Joy, Happiness.
And we also know that not every healer/coach is the right fit for every person. That’s why we give you the opportunity to listen to them work before you buy, so you can get an intuitive feel if it’s right for you.
Our best direction is to listen to your inner knowing, voice, guidance and wait until you connect with a speaker who gives you a clear YES. If it’s a kinda yes, then it’s not right for you right now. Refund Policy
Products generally have a 30-day refund period with the following exceptions:
- If in the description of an item, a different refund policy is stated, the policy in the description supersedes this 30-day policy for that specific item only.
- If an item includes a private session, whether sold as part of a package or singly, the item is no longer refundable once the private session has been conducted or if it is less than 24 hours before a session is scheduled, even if it is less than 30 days after purchase.
- Private sessions, whether sold as part of a package or singly, must be availed within six months of purchase or will be forfeited and no refund given. Exceptions are if in the description of the package, the speaker specifies a different time limit
- Only one refund can be requested within a 90-day period.
- As of March 2020, Paypal stopped refunding their fees which are 5%, so you will get 95% of your money back. If you think you may refund an item, we recommend using the direct credit card option as then you will get 100% of your refund.
To obtain a refund, please forward a copy of your receipt to [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and for direct credit cards a 100% refund will be issued and for Paypal a 95% refund will be issued.
